TWINWOODS OPTIVUS Margaret River Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon
Optivus is the flagship wine from the Estate and is a reflection of the region, the local conditions, the viticulture and winemaking, what in some circles is referred to as “Terroir”.
Only fine grained French oak barriques are used for barrel ageing and the wine destined for wine for Optivus is aged for 18 months in predominantly new barrels.

TWINWOODS Margaret River Shiraz
Twinwoods Estate is located in the heart of the Margaret River wine region, which is about 3 hours south Perth the capital city of Western Australia. At Twinwoods Estate we make wine and oil from grapes and olives which we grow on our own estate. The mild climate of Margaret River produces Shiraz, or what could be more correctly termed, Syrah wine styles which are of more elegant nature and less ripe style than the Shiraz for which Australia has become noted.

TWINWOODS MARGRET RIVER CABERNET SAUVIGNON
Twinwoods Estate is located in the heart of the Margaret River wine region, which is about 3 hours south Perth the capital city of Western Australia. Margaret River has a very strong reputation for its Cabernet Sauvignon wines, the unique maritime influence and the geology combine to produce wines of global significance.

TWINWOODS Margaret River Chardonnay
Margaret River is divided into 5 different sub regions. The Twinwoods vineyard from which we produce our red wines in Wilyabrup, however, we source our Chardonnay from a vineyard 30 kilometres to the south in the Margaret River sub region which is much cooler and better suited to growing Chardonnay.

Twinwoods Western Australia Cabernet Merlot
Western Australia, and in particular Margaret River is renown for the making of fine, elegant Cabernet based wines. The classic blend of Cabernet Sauvignon for flavour and structure with Merlot to fill the middle palate is extremely well expressed in Western Australia. The cool maritime climate of this region is ideal for slow ripening and the consequent development of full flavour and texture.

Twinwoods Western Australia Sauvignon Blanc
The cool maritime influenced climate of Margaret River is renown for the making of fine, elegant aromatic white wines. Sauvignon Blanc is one of the signature white wines from Margaret River. Our Sauvignon Blanc grapes are picked early so as to retain the tropical aromatics and delicate flavours, pressed softly, and then fermented with particular yeasts which enhance the aromatics.

Twinwoods was established in 2005 by winemaker Aldo Bratovic and Gavin Jones from Jebsen Fine Wines. This small boutique property, Twinwoods Estate, is located in the sub region of Wilyabrup in Margaret River, Western Australia, after 10 years of dedicated and hard work it is one of the rising stars of the region.
